Visitor Visa

Super Visa is a good option for parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents to visit their children for a longer duration. A Super Visa lets parents and grandparents stay for 5 consecutive years in Canada. It is a multi-entry visa for a period up to 10 years. The important requirements to apply are:

An invitation letter from a child or grandchild of the person applying for a Super Visa
Proof by sponsor of meeting the minimum of Low Income Cut-Off (LICO)
Evidence of medical insurance coverage of at least $100,000 from a Canadian insurance company with a validity of 1 year from the date of entry
Medical examination of the applicants by IRCC panel physician
Proof of sufficient financial support
